Wheel bearings are had it in all of them, the box well thay just die, the blow by fit new rings $80. You should have just said your not smart enough to fix its problems and swap back, not bag the arse out of people.

I remember seeing the old green ybyavl at calder one night when we took the corty out for some runs it went dam hard on the bottle and he drove there and drove home 13.8 if i remember right and over 100mph it was stonking for a stockish engine

This EA with a V8 meh if it was not engineered it was not worth much unless it was fast and clearley it wasnt, i bet thats why your mate swaped.

I for one would have fixed the few things worng with the boosted one, it would have been worth somthing and would have gone thru a roady if you fixed things and pulled the turbo gear where the V8 would of needed its driveline pulled or be engineered

As for a V8 being fast my XR8 is a dog, my xr6 blew it off the road when it was N/A, if the XR6 did not have a 3000 stall convertor i would use it to tow cars around with.
