You need to clean the indicators, it's really letting the whole front down.

im 50/50 on the tail lights at the moment it gets a cut and polish tomorrow so ill see how it looks without faded paint. also the double sided tape is off the car now previous owner removed the side strips and badges with plans to respray it. i have also taken the cut springs out of it and put standards in it was to bouncy and way to low i dont know how the previous owner drove it bouncing around like it did :-P

I got AU injectors in my motor, they're supposed to spray better than the standard ones but I think they've made my car run a little rich :/

today i found some motorvation to work on the XR6 and got it finished....finally :P

firstly there was over spray in the rear wheel arches so off came the wheels and i cleaned them up and gave them a spray
Image
then i fixed the front inner gaurds so they dont rub anymore and finished up putting in the boot plastics and rear seat (no pics)
then gave it a wash as it was coverd in dust
Image
Image
Image
Image
finally i gave the lip on the 18s a polish up

all done now and ready to go for a drive. tomorrow the gaurd and bonnet on the xf get wet sanded and buffed then next weekend the ed gets wet sanded and buffed.

its been quite a while since ive updated here.

we will start with the XR6.

i didnt continue with the rear bar graft it was to low and scraped on everything so i got a ea rear bar for free and chucked it on and drove it for a while.
Image
Image
Image
then i chucked the tremors back on
Image
i then went to moonah mufflers and bought a 2.5inch cat back no resinators and 1 straight through muffler and it sounds stock and its very quite :glare:
Image
i fitted the front section at home then fitted the tail pipe at my brother inlaws work took a few trys to get the car on the hoist :P also he welded on the 3 inch dump tip i bought its abit crooked but ohwell
Image
i then got sick of looking at the rear bar so pulled it off and did some repairs
Image
then i high filled it and rubbed it back so it was smooth
Image
primed and wet rubbed with 1500 it was ready for paint
Image
i also got a large pwr trans cooler off a mate ive got as far as mounting it
Image
i then sprayed the rear bar and fitted it to the car
Image
Image
Image
i also fitted new speakers and ran new wiring for them i have no photos of this.
and lastly i touched up a few bits of paint in the bay and cleaned the rocker cover with degreeser
Image
cleaned over spray off the build plates
Image
and took off the exhaust heat sheild and cleaned it up
Image

then xf hasnt changed to much apart from the dash now black to match the door trims
Image
and a redline torker manifold and a 350 holley
Image
Image
Image
and finished just have to finish tuning it
Image
i also replaced all the hoses welsh plugs and gave it a service
Image
and on gumtree last week i found this for $35 who could say no :D

rocker cover looks brand new! , its strange that you say the exhaust sounds like standard, most people on here run a 2.5" system with 1 muffler and they defintely dont sound stock, and when I got my car I had the same system you have on it and it def didnt sound stock
