Getting the car sorted out over the weekend for a roady. Seems it has a starting up issue like its flooding itself.
On starting it seems to just sit and crank over and not fire but on pushing down to WOT it will fire up.
Im thinking its leaky injectors however if anyone has some idea's let me now please.

I have replaced
-Dizzy Cap
-Rotor Button
- Plugs
-Leads
Still seems to be there.

ebglt its sounds to me that it has leaky injectors.
when you remove the plugs do they come out wet?
you can chech the injectors with a a4 piece of paper. pull the injectors out but leave them plugged in and put the paper underneath injector then let it sit for a while.
the injectors leaking the most will have the most wet patch on the paper.
You may already know that trick but thought it might help.

Never heard that before but thanks mate ill give that a go.
I have a set of standard ones that I removed from EBGLT when I went bigger ill more than likely just change em over and see how they go.

learnt it at work on the BMW's as they all flood when they get older.

Sounds definitely like a leaking injector or injectors. When you hold it at WOT then ECU cuts fuel, so the flooding clears and it fires up. Takes all of 10 minutes to change injectors on EA-ED, don't worry about tests, just get on it.

Id replace the coolant temp switch to be sure as they can tell the comp to pump more fuel then needed as it thinks its still cold

If youre still having the problem, I had the exact same. Was a fucked fuel pressure reg. Replaced and away we go. Still hve a couple of other issues, but it fires up straight away every time.
