It's a 1990 NAII Fairlane, I6 3.9L with a 4 speed auto. Rosewood in colour, and stock as a rock.
Mechanically it runs like a dream, the body is fairly straight with no rust and the interior is mint with all of the electrics working as they should.
One owner car. Came with the original service manual and service history, and was originally a Warragul car so it hasn't come all that far from 'home'. Currently unregistered, however this will change once my exams are over (mid/late-November). Anywho, I'll let the pictures do the talking..
Not entirely sure what my plans are for it, other than putting it on the road and driving it.
Although, there are a few things I'd like to do it (very, very tame. No turbos or DOHC conversions here)
- Get registered.
- Lower (superlows or ultras).
- Paint a few bits and pieces (mirror scalps, door handles, etc)
- Clear indicators.
- Replace chrome in bumpers and side moulds.
- LTD grille (anyone got one? definetely not a fan of the standard "egg crate" grille).
- Flappas (anyone have a set of these for 15 inch wheels they want to sell also?).
- Get a detail.
- Mild stereo.
- Maintain.
- Drive.
The styling of these aren't everyones cup of tea, and I can understand why (I'm still not quite over how long it looks/is), but it's a whole lot of car for sweet eff all money. So thanks for looking, and any feeback/suggestions are welcomed. Hopefully be more updates on this in about a months time. Now, back to studying... Cheers.
