Useless Poll #4: How much do you rape your E-Series...

Postby Bipolar » March 26th, 2008, 6:11 pm

I think my EL cops constant abuse, so when it's eventually modded and no longer stock, I'm gonna have to change my attitude or methinks many tows will be in my future. I only flog it all the time when I don't have passengers so they get a decent ride, so every 5 minutes is when I'm by myself, but I wanna see if I actually do rape it, or I'm just the same as everyone else.

BTW breaking the speed limit everywhere doesn't count - that just makes you a fucken tool.

I don't drive an E-Series everyday, but I thrash the BF every day, and when I had an E-Series daily I raped it more.
I had to just to get anywhere.

pretty much everytime i drive it... when i fill up i say to myself maybe i should just drive it normal and see how many k's i can get from a tank... that lasts either till the first corner or set of lights, which ever comes first...

I still manage 450k's from a tank though, and thats before the warning...

If i could drive the Sprint more than a minute without breaking traction or WOT i am sure i would be so much better off

That being said it gets looked after, i don't push it harder than i know it can handle, serviced every 5000km's and if something is damaged/fails/generally not working properly i will replace/fix it straight away.

There should be an option for "every time I think I can get away with it...and sometimes even if I think I can't" :)

My car sees WOT through first and second at least once every time I drive it (excepting the crawl to and from work in <30km/h peak hour traffic..) and WOT through first and second means 0-100km/h wheelspin - it's just sooooo fun :D

If I need to do a U-turn I'll turn down muliple side streets until I find a safe place to exploit the lokka, rather than just pull over and wait for a break in traffic, which would take much less time :P

My car cops it large :)

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.

I don't have an E-series anymore, but I give the BA a floggin at least a few times a day. Loves it!!

When I had the EL I only ever put the foot down once every couple of weeks. There wasn't really much point raping a car like that.

Depends where i'm driving and what i'm doing, I could go on a long drive and not thrash it at all or could go on a 10-15 minute drive and thrash it the whole way....usually happens at night when coming home from mates houses.

When I was using it as a daily, I never babied my ED. It was rare for me to use non-WOT or not to smash the gearchanges because it was so slow haha.

As far as mechanically raping it goes, the other day I went home to my parents to see my poor ED. After it not having been started for 3-4months, I cranked her into life and let it idle for about 10 seconds. I then pulled straight out onto the highw... err racetrack, clutch dumped it from 4000rpm, nailed 5000rpm in 1st-thru-3rd, then slammed the anchors on, pulled over, clutch dumped it from 5krpm and did a donut, raped it all the way home 1st-thru-3rd, and parked it in the shed. It loved it like the slut that it is, but either way, after the shit it gave me, it fuckin deserved it.

when i first got the NA i spent a day doin big twin skids 4 pairs of rear tyres including the new ones that were on it left a few blackys. i have a quary at the end of my road down in a gully so i could sit there all day rippin skids and not worrie bout the cops.

i love the sound of the waste gate and feeling the turbo spoil up so it is constantly reving when im driving round plus takin off at every intersection and set of lights. so yer it gets raped

depends on my mood. Early morning....nothing. lunch time, yes. night? if im going out yes, tired and cbf then no. When i do, things leak, temp guage goes up, smells like burning and car clunks all over the place. Also doesnt help rear main when oil thins out....just leaves a fresh trail of oil in the driveway the next day, meaning everyone can tell if the car gets driven hard or not. i just want 300rwhp.... Mine cops a thrashing. Starts to vibrate a bit over 120k'm/h. It back fires everynow and then, so i havent bothered to fix the airbox. A tank of gas gets me under 300k's. The T5 is held in with three of its four bolts. And it idles like a pig. Just waiting to kill it so I can upgrade!

Dunno. I guess Im a bit of a pussy/nurse the car too much. But on the same note, I hate revving a mostly stock car. Maybe once I get a cam in and build up some more HP, I'll feel less like another P-plater doing lame burnouts in a clunky boxcar

I love revving my stock motor. I've had nothing but compliments about the way the EL performs for a stokka.
