Manual Gear Selector Same For I6 & V8?

Just wondering if the selectors are the same in the I6 T5's and the V8 T5's??

So what is the difference between the boxes? Just the input shaft?

yeah pretty much I think, gear ratios are a bit different too from memory. I just know from when I bought my billet shifter there was no difference between I6 & V8 shifters. BA went to a different shifter though, as that's what I was sent and had to exchange it for a E-Series T5 one.

input shaft, bell housing (of course) and usually they are a bit more beefed up inside so the ratios getchanged to deal with more torque and the difference in power output at different revs
