TUFED6 - ED Falcon Turbo - Not 56k friendly

Was a bit bored this arvo so here is the inevitable Boeing photoshoot. ;)

Some things I've done lately that are probably more a case of 'because i could', or sht I've had sitting around for ages-

- ED Ghia leather interior
- White internal louvre
- Scorcher front bar
- Normal ED XR headlight surround

Things that might happen-
- Get the front bar painted
- Redo the tint
- Get rid of the louvre because it rattles like a motherfcuker
- Replace the 18's and get some of those 17in steel chasers

Good chance that none of that will happen.

why dont the front bar sit flush with headlights and guard? Not being a gay kent but just curious

looks sick as man

I reckon a stocko bar and gen XR6/8 headlights would look better, but thats just me

so your saying sundose has a shit cooler. awesome

didnt realise big men's coolers need so much room, makes sense now that Rollin uses a Soobaroo front bar

someone needs to make a more factory looking aftermarket front bar with FMIC space

You really need to get this thing down the strip John!

Is a Scorcher-XR hybrid front possible?

In most of the pics above the front bar is just sitting on- no bolts, so it droops a bit.

I'm not 100% on the front bar either, but it hides the cooler and thats what I wanted. Scorcher would be great and its funny having half the cooler hanging out of a stock bar but I don't want the attention.

If I didn't care about stealth I'd get an XR headlight cover mated with a scorcher bar.

Anyway, heres some of the pics from SF#1.

Awesome shots. It looks sick... I wish it could still retain the stock front bar though :(

Not that impressive IMO.

I haven't cracked it open to confirm yet, but it was hitting the rev limiter at 3/4 track. My tuner had actually said to me a few weeks previously that he believed the rev limiter to be more harmful than an over-rev due to the forces that it places on the crank & piston/rings, and I'd have to say now that I agree with him.

Now that I've had a few days to think about what was happening, its possible that the thing was just plain out of gearing.

127ish MPH with 26in slicks, 2.92 gears, 5500 rpm limit = around 15% converter slip which seems pretty high to me. I was expecting 10% max. Not sure what to make of it- more thought required.
