Technically, ECU and PCM are different.

PCM = Powertrain control module, which is a computer that controls not just the engine, but the gearbox as well - IE you could say that an auto I6 falcon has a PCM but an auto V8 has an ECM (Engine Control Module) and a TCM (Transmission Control Module).

Also, some manufacturers use ECU to mean "Electronic Control Module" (not necessarily just the Engine Control Module) such as BCM, PCM, Climate control etc.

Just useless info I thought I would share.

Another couple:

HVAC = Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning - pretty self explanatory.
OMFG = Oh my fvcking God
OMGWTFBFXMASBBQ = Oh my God what the fvck Boosted Falcon Christmas Babecue - An expression of extreme surprise and or dismay :P

Also, copying the whole list is a shit idea, because if two people post very close to one another they are bound to leave each others additions out by accident - modify your posts to only include the acronyms you have added yourself

SFA = Sweet Fvck All
They shall plant vineyards and drink the wine of them. And they shall build their lay cities and live in them
And they shall also make gardens and eat the fruit of them. And I will plant them upon their land, which I have given them
And the mountains shall drop sweet wine and the hills shall melt.
