try a place that specialises in alloy.... wont have to paint it. then wouldnt rust then.
they would likeley bend it in one of those press breaks. (i think i have the name right)

personally i dont like those but its your choice tho, but ive still got the massive mudflaps on the back of my ute.(used to be a b&s ute but i had to de sticker it, no it wasnt a defect one... just stickers everywhere)

Thats a pretty normal price for the type of bullbar you're after. Remember how many people said 'buy a ute with the B&S stuff done already'? That is the reason why.

But of course you knew that, because you looked at prices of things you wanted to get done to the ute before buying the ute, because that is a smart thing to do when buying a car ;)

Buy me this

And this
http://store.summitracing.com/partdetai ... toview=sku

And these
http://store.summitracing.com/partdetai ... toview=sku

And there's your money spent :D

Alternatively, instead of us livening the **** up, why don't you neck the **** up parrot boy and take on board some of the things that have been said? Lots of people clearly have already tried to help you spend your money, did you not see the million links to the better value for money cars in the other thread? You are clearly choosing to not spend your money wisely despite what your obviously superior 17 (nearly 18, lol) year old brain thinks, and what you try to tell us.

PS Asking people for advice, then saying we are all wrong is not the best way to get along on a forum.

iv never said u guys were wrong... =\
and i hav been listerning to what alot of the guys have been saying, and alot of the utes that have been pointed out to me, dont interest me.
such as the green XH and the AU, altho i did notice the AU previously, im not to keen on the AU's.
and i hav been chattin to Mum, considering shes the one helping me get this loan, and its just one of those things.
im not tryin to cause shit, i just want some help and some rough prices on parts and all that sorta fun stuf, not a full on flame fest about how i should buy a bright green street ute, i want this ute to be mine, not one that someones already done up and im just thrashin, sure its fun, but i want sumthin i can take real pride in, sumthin that i can work on myself, and at the end, realise that all my hard earned money has gone into a ute that is MINE.
so lets just drop the whole *your paying too much* thing, and just talk shit about cars.

btw, i have had alook around and alot of XH's r still goin for around 10thou with 100+ more on the clock. we done??

Although I'm with the other guys that you are more than likely getting ripped off. It seems that isn't going to change, so gl with it. I think you realise that what ever money you put into it is not going to be recovered, as the Ute is gonna lose value too quickly, so make sure you keep it in damn good nick so that it at least lasts a while. That being said this is completely off topic lol.
