Hi guys,

There has been some discussion on these forums about how the quality of posts is starting to go downhill.

We have to fix it before this becomes boost cruising.

These are the new rules.

1. Off topic discussion will not be tolerated in the technical section or the for sale section. If you take a thread off topic you will be warned. Do it again and you will be banned.

2. Text speak will not be tolerated. If you want to talk in sms language use your phone and sms your mum. She is probably the only one left who tolerates your crap anyway. 1 warning then ban.

3. Dont be dickhead. This was our only rule in the beginning but more and more wankers have joined since the forum started so now the 1 rule must be spelled out so you understand.

If you are a dickhead you will be banned. No warnings, no exceptions.

4. NUFF SAID is a dickhead saying and not tolerated. It will result in a ban.

Makes sense to me. Just make sure that you think twice before hitting the submit button. As for pointless posts, you don't have to type everything you think. We don't care what you think anyway.

If you think of something after you hit Submit, edit your post, dont start another one for a couple more words. Thats what the edit button is for.

its really farken annoying when someone posts and they dont use any full stops or commas starting a new sentence without a full stop looks retarded you dont talk like that in reality if you do you suck at life

What we should do is start a new thread in the sick kent forum just for Ya Mum jokes. When we feel like making one of those comments hit the quote button but copy and paste the quote and appropriate/inappropriate "Ya Mum" joke into a reply in the the new sickness Mum Joke thread... instead of tearing down the moral and tasteful purpose that the original thread provides.

We all like a good Mum joke every two minutes!

Just created an account to research a topic related to my application.
Naturally, i'm taking a look around the site to see how things are structured in here and i'm greeted by this thread: LOW QUALITY OF POSTS = BANNINGS

Well that's really set things off on the right foot, coming from another site where a large group of contributing and technically minded members (like myself) chose to have their accounts deleted because the moderators went of some sort of mindless power trip that came down to nothing more than intellectual masturbation after deciding to ban members for plainly lame reasons.

In this thread, i see the same sort of sentiments; the very same sentiments that had myself and a good other people leave the site we were on, and start a new site of our own.

It's frustrating as moderators can just as easily f*%k up the good will of a forum as protect it's integrity.

Sorry, but i'm choosing to give this site a miss - what a waste of time even creating an account.

i think you will find the 'low quality' post being referred to is useless dribble that is generally off topic with no relevance combined with bad spelling and grammar.
the mods here are not natzis, and I'm not sure if I've even had a post deleted the whole time I've been here.
you cant expect everyone to just stand by as ppl ask the same shit that's been covered previously or let people put up a post that looks like a small child, possibly a toddler, has attempted to communicate with others...

This thread is a warning, i'm just gonna ban anyone that breaks the rules stated above from now on. Main things i'm gonna be looking for is faggoty SMS spec posts, or posts which a grade 6 student could improve (i'm not the best with spelling/grammer but some of you seem like you don't even try) also off topic posts will result in a ban.

It would seem to me that after however long i have been a member here I have the grand total of 4 posts. This thread is supposed to be about stopping the low quality of posts on Boosted Falocn, Ive just read through about 10-15 diifferent threads and noticed that all that seems to go on is bagging out others, insulting general road rules etc and well low quality of posts.

So as awesome as some of you are, you people know who i mean, this forum doesnt seem to stand by its rules, therefore is like a thread without pics and completely useless. I dont want to read junk written by 12 year olds in SMS speak but seem to find a fair amount of it here, I dont want to read how such and such is a shitcnt or how your mumma so fat... I wanna read how you got your 16 second e-series to run 12s with the right R&D and money spent. I wanna know whos using what diff ratios etc...

I was joking, but you are right this place is outta control with all the unrelated posts in threads etc, maybe we need more harsh mods, I kinda get where AFF were coming from now!

Firstly how old are you? Secondly you shouldn't be so hard on yourself. Thirdly most of the points that you mention are somewhat valid... however you need to realise that most members are here because E-Series are a dime a dozen, cheap to mod and make good power doing it. For the price bracket that e-series fall into is it really a surprise that there is SMS talk, ragging on others, breaking road rules, asking stupid questions and generally saying stupid things?

There are plenty of good build threads, intelligent conversation and people that have "the right R&D and money spent" you just need to find it and stop putting the focus on the shitcunts.
