i reckon they look good when actually looking at the car, even in the pics those particular wheels don't look bad.

I saw an XR8 ute yesterday and a GE6 last week, they both look alot better in person. Pics don't seem to do them any justice :|

How would you rate them compared to the BA XRs?

the BA XR wheels were reasonable, id prefer those wheels in the pics over the shithouse 17's that were released on the BA but the XR8 wheels were good. having said that ive seen the 17's released for the FG and they look absolutely horrible

Saw the whole FPV range today aswell as a few G6E turbs at the Taylors Lakes reception centre, the bloke said they were doing the dealer release today so expect to see them around a bit more now.
They all look a shitload better in person than in the pics ive seen, man the GT-E is a sexy car in the silver colour i saw today.
There was a FG typhoon there with the BA mkII typhoon rims on it, i didnt think they were re-using those rims? The other few typhoons all had the 5 spoke 19's, are they an option and not standard?

They look like CGI to me.

That, or heavily post-processed photos.

Members of the public have already taken much better photos than those, why can't Ford/FPV marketing do the same?

I would say I'm disappointed, but HSV brochures are just as bad.

I saw a G6E the other day on the way to work, grey.

Fail.

The only thing that I liked was the front bumper from about 10cm below the headlights down. The tail light position and shape of the rear of the car looks like a late model Rover, the model of which I can't remember. Badge thing on the front guards = gay. can't wait for the series II - with luck it will be better.

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.
