Nice mate. You get the manual put in or buy it with a manual? Yeah the xe sounds good thats for sure. It's got a nice cam too so sounds good on idle. Prob could go a bit harder, but that'll come with time!.....and money!

Hey thanks for the welcoming to the forum and interest in my xe to everyone!
Don't know everything about the engine mods, know it's got roller rockers and a cam,
just put a 3:45 diff in (it had a 2:77 ) full gas research- hi rise manafold, twin throttle bodies, cold air
( would prefer petrol tho, so maybe convert it back one day! ) twin 2.5 exhaust.
Only had it about 6 months, so look forward to our future together haha!

Ryan- yes, will have to take you for a spin before you move! Hope to go on a cruise soon

ford racing 8- Look forward to seeing some pictures of the xd one day, how far have you got so far?

brocky b8- Don't see many of those brocks around-good score, how long you had that?

braad- Love the EL XRs- fronts are so much nicer than the EFs ( in my opinion! ) always wanted one,
almost bought a 98 XH XR6 but just got a bermuda green XH falcon dumped on EB GT wheels
at that time. Liked it but definately woulda prefered an XR!

Mine is still in primer, taking way to long. Motor is done, was supposed to pick it up ages ago but had the motor builder add/alter a few things so hopefully pick it up next week.

A lot of my mates love XDs, they seem to be the pick of the shape-
they used to be my favs of that shape too, but now I'm a big XE ghia fan,
have been for a while now. No disrespect to an XD tho- still love em!

yeah, i agree shane.. i like the xd's and they can look tuff with the right wheels, ride height and so on, but the xe ghia would be the pick of the xd xe xf cars for me.. the wider headlights and the whole front looks nice az.. but if i ever buy an old falcon/fairmont it will be an xa sedan, i love how fat they look !

Although I do love the XD shape, XE ghias are my favorite, I'm kind of kicking myself now but I sold the XD front and it now has a complete XE ghia front on it which looks good but its a mock.

should look good mate, make sure there are plenty of pics. Are you going for those black wheels?
you said earlier you might go back to petrol, is it dual fuel or straight LPG atm? i thought you could get these 351's really smoking on the bbq gas?

XE's would be one of my favourite falcons (along with XB & EL)

Are you going the 2 tone silver over charcoal or complete charcoal, both look great. ESP charcoal is an awesome color, my first XE was charcoal, always had people saying they loved the color. Looking forward to the final job.

The black wheels were sittin there when I was deciding on wheels, but went with the chromies.
Had it in my head that I didnt want chrome, but saw these things n went "hell yeah!"
Got the chrome trim too so I think they go well with that. The black 20's were sick but no longer
made, so went against them. Loved them tho, was unsure if I made the right choice at the start!
The XE is straight gas too, think it could go a little harder, might just need a tune.

Hey mate, yeah silver over charcoal. Would love an all charcoal XE but too much work I rekon. While I've got ya actually,
do you happen to know the charcoal paint code at all? Wanna make sure it's right! My panel guru rekons he's got it sussed,
but would like to make sure! And the sills below the doors are definately black aren't they? Cheers.
Yeah should start a build thread- still gettin my head around how is best to use this forum!
