Hi,
What can I badge my car?
Sapphire XR6T, maybe just XRT, or and may I use it how about FPV?
I know the FPV brand is purely for you lucky guys over there so maybe It could be an extension in SA, unofficially of course.

Cheers,

We have a luxury turbo model called the G6E-Turbo. That might be more suitable.

Or just leave it badge less except for a turbo badge =)

F6 sounds good and de-badged with only turbo is also an option.
Maybe a combination of both. Put the badges in key positions.
Actually I can call it what I want as its a first ever, think.....

Looks great, very 'cosworth' looking. The fact you have fitted an Aussie 4.0 is awesome. Well done.

These were made in Pretoria weren't they?

I'm surprised you didn't fit the factory XR8 5.0 in it.

They're a rather boring carbureted 5.0... Lol. I'm not surprised he didn't fit it

LOL Staff and Luxo
The 5.0 conversion was done plenty and i wanted something different. I looked at the Cosworth and Scorpio 24v engines from the UK as well but decided against it in terms of parts etc.
When the 4.0l Falcons came along i set my mind on it with the intension of turbo charging it. The Territory ST just made things easier in terms of a base starting point.
Also the 4.0l turbo won hands down in terms bang for my buck versus the 5.0, both in stock form of course.
Just having the straight 6 in my Sapph has prompted plenty interest and discussions over here and maybe more guys will do the conversion, who knows.

Black is beautiful LTDHO! :good:

We did have some Falcon models here up to the XR6 Tickford version. Never the turbo models. I think its because the Falcons were not a big hit especially after the XR6 ran a bearing while being tested by a local car magazine.
I would have loved an FPV version!
Ford here are useless!
