pretty sure Dan was referring to the fact that the car is in a disabled spot...

Looks like a pretty nice car though, I still love those wheels

One of my good mates baught one of these when the first came out, FG2 XR6 EcoLPi in Petrolium, looks micky in the sun! Goes bloody hard for a stock 6 too, the liquid injection is a great system!

One of the best, and underrated locally made cars ever IMHO.

Good score. But when the dealer was turning it around for the photos maybe you could have suggested he didn't park in the special park...

When was it built? I think there was some recall on the ecolpi's, something about the head having to be replaced or something?

Yeah there was a recall, early heads were not as well suited to LPG, pretty sure they had a 5 stamped on the head somewhere. replacements had 6 or 7.

Yeah the early ones were cracking heads but 6months old should be fine.. Also had a recall on tyres cause they were losing traction too easilyy.. We have one for our work ute atm. Seems to go pretty good.

Shillouette is a prick of a colour, Always dirty. Even after you wash it. You have to go round ours 3 times to get it spick and span and two days later its filthy again.

There must be a difference between the Petrol and Gas models performance wise, allthough I will say its a much more comfortable environment when you're driving over the old B Series.

There's another recall on them lol. Something to do with an O-Ring possibly being left out of a module / solenoid somewhere.

know the dates?
iv got a couple of xr6 utes on lpi for work.

seem to be good so far. (about 30,000km in 6ish months

iv had couple of issues when i fill up with gas and it doesnt want to start. but leave it for couple mins and it will start.

i beleive the bosses old fg on gas had to have the head replaced on a recall.
