bf xr6 n/a plus to4 turbo

I want to know if i can tune it using an a/f guage and an adjustable fmu..running 44mm external and larger injectors to keep needed fuel pressure to about 60.i will trick the map sensor so ecu shouldnt know?want to run about 7psi...also can retard ignition timing by moving crank sensor..any thoughts

Why bother just tune it via the ecu.
and soon as you put bigger injectors in you need to tune for them.
So just do turbo,injectors,fuel pump,TUNE!!!!

I have tried something similar to this and after stuffing around with the ecu I decided it would have been better off just doing it properly... with a tune that is.

But if your still interested your std injectors will handle 7psi and a 6:1 fmu will do the job.

I strongly advise against this stuffaround, it'll be a dodgy thing that will be less reliable and make less power than if you swapped an XRT MAP sensor and got the original ECU reflashed.

Car been running for 6 months up to ten psi..using a spa turbo adjustable rising rate regulator..a/f mixtures are average and I amazed it still runs sweet..I'm ready to step it up a bit..have a factory turbo and manifold too go on..some.guy reckoned he just wired in the turbo map sensor and flashed the pcm with a generic turbo tune..I guess if it loads in it would be better than what I got now..I can still adjust the fuel pressure slightly too change a/f ratio if needed..your thoughts..I not too worried if it blows up..motors are cheap as..

Turbos have a different fuel pressure regulator as well.

Don't know why you would bother fucking around, a vcm tune is usually only around $600. Don't waste your time.

Yep. More power, better economy, better reliability.
