Any opinions on the Rating thing that comes up under threads that have been liked?
It was a bit of a side effect, but it can be removed if the general concensus is that it looks like arse.

Looks much better now. Glad to be on a forum where the admin actually knows how to run the site properly. It helps that you're running phpBB, it's pretty easy to customise. Some things are a bitch though.

I think the rating thing is weird. Might be better if I could work out how it calculates it but I've tried a few things and nothing adds up. In most cases though it just seems to make all threads look like they have a very low rating.

Yeah not too much of a fan of the star system under thread titles, it makes it look messy somehow. As infernalTyrant said, it also makes the threads look like they're crap because they have a low rating, rather than better because they have a higher rating than threads that aren't rated.

i was confused about what you guys were talking about, i pretty much only ever click on new posts, and it doesnt show the ratings on the results.

looks cleaner without it imo.

yeah, i think i'll remove the star things.

I think we need Little Green Boxes (V1)<tm> where people were "shining stars" and "beacons of light"

the stuff on that page just looks kind of raw. like a bulk of writing with no formatting.

had to look a few times earlier before i realised who had actually made the post. beacause it had made a 2nd line of names so all blended together.

Didnt want to start a whole new thread for this so I thought I would tack it on to this thread...

But I was wondering if we could actually have a "jump to your last post" arrow next to threads where you have posted?

Now, I click on "view my posts" then all my posts come up.... At the moment you need to scroll through each page to find your post. It could be a few pages behind by the time you go back to check it if anyone has responded. On AFF, there is a little arrow that takes you to your last post..

Was wondering does boosted have this, if not can it be added?

Why?

Because there is a little orange box that appears before the tread title, it takes you to the first unread post of a thread that you've replied in.
