What gears are best for a diff

Hi all I'm doing an upgrade on my diff and some suppliers have said to stay original with Borg Warner gears and some have said to change to Spicer gears.im doing the upgrade to get more acceleration..

Eithier will be fine. What ratio you going with? 3.9:1?

Find what ratio you want, then find out which brand supplies the ratio you want. Also consider what type of driving you do when you consider ratio, as 4.11:1 may not be great if you do a lot of freeway driving. I haven't heard of diff gears failing without cause, so it would really come down to what is available
