Hi, welcome to the forums.

I'd be elaborating on that question unless you want to be shitcanned ;)

* what car do you have?
* what's your definition of "cheap"?
* what kind of "performance" are we talking about? rwkw? handling? tougher sounding engine? etc

Get a pod,
i was playing around with my airbox on the weekend, thought stuff it for a bit of fun and not having much of an idea of what goes on in a engine i purchased a pod filter.
Not expecting a huge difference, i got it, fitted it.
took it for a spin.
floored it, sounds good once it hits 3000 revs gives it a tiny bit more acceleration.

im still saving for all my first mods.
Exhaust, extractors, cam.
diff gears
wheels.

all in good fun!!!!

If it's a CFI EA -> Sell it and buy any other e-series = low cost performance.

Kermundo is right though, we need more information.

As Fairmont said:
Pick two of the three, and no, you can't have all three:
Fast, Reliable, Cheap.
EF Fairmont, SSL's, T5, Extractors
