i checked all the fuses pretty much straight away, i tried the indicator connectors (they work for the indicators, but not for illuminating :() ones they didn't work so i am thinking i have killed the cluster =\ any idea on how to fix that?

i could go to my local wreckers my only problem is i dunno what to do with the odometer mines only got like 130,000k's on its clock and i highly doubt i could find one as low, so dunno if i can switch the odometers.

-cheers

You want to pull out the globes marked in that pic. To pull the face off, take out the screws with the red boxes around them.

Did the blue leds in my ea and it looked dull and too hard to read if anything mate put some white leds in so you have a bright dash.

Blue leds only go well with ef-el clusters.

pretty sure they are different cause dad did my cluster the other week and said something about the climate control one being different. Also, not sure which ones they are, but pretty sure you have to get the best ones cause first we got some leds and they were too dull, then we got the more pricey ones and they light up much better.

the lights for ur climate control and all that "should" be the same as your dash cluster lights, t10's otherwise you might have to get t'5s size, PM me if u want me to check em out for you, ohh and Red LEDs have a longer plastic end if that helps, so it should light up a lot better :)
