LOL @ "feeling the difference" with a just a pod. You need to have a significant power increase (like 20kw or more) to "feel the difference" in your car's power output. Or a significant driveline change like a manual conversion or shorter diff gears. Or replacing a blocked & collapsed cat... As for "feeling the difference" off the line, that'd be low-rpm stuff wouldn't it... Yep that high-flow pod filter definitely makes the car launch better at 2000rpm :?

i agree i did it no way you can feel it not off the line nor top in of the revs best mod for your bucks 4.11 diff what first gear lol
only do the pod for looks not for power gain

ps commando how do i know when my cats fuked

if want to really check them then take them out and drop a rock in it and if it doesn't come out then their ok, but if it comes out then their completley fucked.
if ya gonna f*#k it up, make sure you f*#k it up in such a way that you have everyone saying "how the F*#K did he do that"

And if the rock stays in the cat then you have a really annoying rattle if you forget to get it out or cant

If everything lights up you're done. If it's on fire you probably should have taken it to an auto electrician.

well then turn the barstard up-side-down. it will come out as i have done it heaps of time and it has never got stuck, so use a decent size rock.

On my EF, I've done the following:
Oversize throttle body $220 (eBay)
Gasket material to make idle speed controller gasket $16 (Auto One)
BA 6-cyl. inlet duct $25 (wreckers)
BA V8 snorkel $40 (FTG Auto Salvage via eBay) – modified to make the mouth bigger
Cold air induction pipe from front bumper to front of snorkel $50 (Auto One)
PVC pipe connecting inlet duct to airbox $3 (hardware shop)
K&N panel filter $80 (eBay) - waste of money really; paper filters are fine
Modified my existing airbox with insulating material on "hot" side of box, inner snorkel replaced with bigger 3” bellmouth and intake hole cut into front of box and covered with mesh - free DIY

Total outlay $414 not including random sundries I already had etc; all work performed by myself.
Narrowest point in the intake is 68mm at the throttle body.

Coming soon – Ported intake manifold…

Just letting you know bud, you can polish the inside of the intake manifold but you shouldn't port it unless you are boosted, it wrecks the vaccum
unplug your bbm and you'll feel your low end torque decrease

ive done it on my ef fairmont, but have any of u guys connected up AU falcon injectors, they have a 4 Point spray and a different pattern, and run more pressure, apparently they are ment to give it a bit more high end power and more throttle response, im not gonna sit here and tell you my cars a 10 second car because of some injectors, but u can feel the difference, and they plug straight in.
