Do you know how to replace them?

142 mph was blazing tyres off the line too so it doesnt exactly count as "healthy mph" as with lots of wheelspin often you gain mph

that's only 5 mph slower than the bf series doing 9,s in the other thread on here,If he can get it to hook up out of the hole,it will crack a 9.
The f series one is doing like 1.45? over the 60.
Keep going with the set up,your mph for a 12 shows its got the pull to go a 9.

it wont run 142mph if it hooks up and runs a 9.
my bet is when it does eventually crack a 9.9 it will be 139mph

im saying when it does, not if it does, cos i reckon it will run a 9 one day. when? **** knows..

CO2 boost control. Because street car?

Do you need to pay to rent the supagas/BOC bottles for that too?

On a plus note 660' to end i got 35.78MPH. Moves when it goes!! :D

Got the 60' down to 1.66 but ye auto didnt like it all.

I do,so cant see how posting a comparison is a fail.
I do understand that a huge amount of factors corralate into a cars final et and mph.
Have seen some shit 60,s over the years with unreal mph and et.
It also comes down to how the car progresses down the track, some cars make the first 3/4 of the track and then only put on10mph to the trap.
Other cars are only building up and put on 50mph over the last 1/4.
There is more than a few ways cars correlate mph and et and not many are the same.
A good example was rod harveys celica at wsid not long ago, looked lazy over the 6o and it was, then went to the end of track faster than the current sports compact national record.
So you can pull out all of mph and et calculators and whip me with them if you like.

How long does it last?

That F6 is also lowered all round..what's the go from here icer? Even once your auto is fixed it doesn't look like its going to crack a 9 as is. Did you put the standard springs back in?

the last run i had was a 1.64 60'. Started getting better. Had a 1.67 and a 1.71. Started doing handbrake launches but pretty rusty at it. Need more practice to Stall it up on the 1st light of the tree with handbrake up and revs ready then creep to 2nd light on tree then letgo. Think i lifted a wheel on the 1.67 launch...awaiting pics from fullboost. was at 3900rpm on 8psi. I could still go another 2/3 psi. So should get me a high 1.5.

I dont see how standard suspension will improve diver practice compared to a racing setup but sure.

on the last run with the 1.64 i was bouncing of limiter at ~7k from 2nd to 3rd. Smashed 35.78mph top half of the track and ran a 10.66 i think. I need to be changing at 6k! lol

If your lifting the front wheel on a 1.67 launch, your wasting energy that should be used pushing the car forward. Put stock suspension it in.

My vote for stock or 'lows' height (probably the same as xr?) with good (koni) rear shocks. Rip the front sway bar out too.

That's all I have in mine and it will do 1.5 60fts easy peasy.

It looks like it launches pretty hard but you might actually just have too much rear squat.

How much more boost can you build on the brake? I can hold 15psi on the brake if I want in mine. Just that my 60ft didn't change whether I launched at 10psi or 15psi.

With 90/10 in the front, you really need a stock spring in the back. No lowered stuff.

And grab a truetrac from Justin at tuff car parts. Much better traction than a factory LSD and helps keep you straight.

tru track may be next.

All i got up to was 8psi had no issue. Was working my way up once i worked out what rev i could hold. with only 8psi i went 1.64. Im sure i can do 12-15psi with the handbrake with the big brembos and pbrs on the back. 10psi launch was next then 12 but....auto didnt agree lol

Issue is holding the car misk. Stock brakes or brembos won't hold a falcon on their own, people use the handbrake to help but it requires a bit of skill.

Turbo needs load

Load creates torque

Torque overcomes brakes

Car moves forward and breakout occurs or you break the beam and have to leave before your ready.

Or tailshaft turns into spaghetti!

How many times have you been to the drags, 10? Yeah you need more practice, there is no way you can learn how to stall a car in that time.

Hand brake launch is easy. Took me two shots to get it. Danny's car has brembos as well and held on the line fine. He ran a 1.52 I believe on the way to his 9. You should be fine holding the boost on the line.

lol. BTR would explode with a transbrake. Unless its one of those yarra 10k manualized 4sps (VERY diff to a 4sp btr).

I never done handbrake launches till the other day as I only found out last week i need to be leaving from 4k rpm and not 2800-3200 that ive been trying. Last 2 tries i did 6 and 8psi and did the 1.6x. Still had more in it.

1st launch with hbrake i launched but only put half the h/brake down (lawl). 2nd attempt was good. Danny did a 1.53. Id love to do a 1.53. No reason why the car cant.....plenty of reasons why the nugget driver cant :P

Pull the spring out of your hand brake (if you can in a BA), that way its less likely to stick partially up.
