Good stuff. 10's now? :beg:

How much did that extra 20kw cost you? If the auto breaks whose fault will it be?

Exhaust issues with a 4inch dump/100 cell cat/3.5inch system. Hmm. What diameter is the cat? Sure it's a 100cell? MIght need to "customise" the cat.

yeah cat is brand new. might be a gay one though. more R&D in a month or 2. Might be flapper mod / porting not done properly by AVO. Could be a few things so yeah, will look into it later on.

And goign calder 9th of July to see if i can get that 10 :P

good job man but doesnt seem like massive power for the psi but u said its a low reading dyno.
my brother pulled 329rwkw on 13.5psi with standard dump pipe aps exhaust plazmaman 800hp cooler kit and actuator done.
oh and odviously fuel system done to.
but u have the auto and histall thatll take a fair bit.
cheers josh.

nice work dude! bet you cant wait to test it out.
power seems ok, i bet that stall is hiding a few kw. Dion is a nice guy met him a couple of times back when he was trying for a 10 at calder.
good luck with the times! i rekon an 11.2 lol :D

yeah the big converter is robbing 30+rwkw but ill show it on the track not the dyno. eboost, your bro would of had a generic shootoutmode 6f dyno. Dion puts proper temeratures and stuff into each dyno he does. All figures are accurate and none generic. This is why i want to go to an RE CUSTOMS dyno night and see how much difference ill see on both dynos. Im expecting 370+ on the recustoms dyno night. Time will tell!

Hopefully iI can pull a 125mph run on the 1/4.

Don't know if this has been asked, but why didn't you just get a bottom end built with spools and CP's? Instead of spending that money on another factory item. It's not as if you needed all the accessories that came with it anyway since you already had a b-series. I read on ET you are planning on doing the rods now anyway?.. Or did you intend on stopping at a certain power level before, hence only needing the F6 bottom end? Good luck getting the results you're chasing tho.

my bottom end and sump had a hole in em. None where useable. No need to do bottom end builds. My end game goal will be 450rwkw~ with forged rods,gt42 + 6boost manifold and a nizpro 4" zorst system. Research shows dont need pistons, but to be 'safe' i may do it anyway see how we go and see how funds go. Not chasing anything over 450rwkw. I drive the car to work and back (30+km each way) and peak hour on the monash freeway sitting under 10km/h is just teasing! :beg:

I dont care on the power of the eb. Its the daily car lol. If it is quicker then other peoples 'done up cars' well good on it. Its not like i use it to go racing. I wouldnt expect to beat anything decent or even half decent on the street. Nothing from 2000 +. If i do.... well sucks to be them. Im putting it on gas in a few weeks anyway.

i drove ba to work for last 3 weeks while i was sorting out the EB. but at 14.4L/100km....and 100octane only...its not the most convenient. EB is good for my daily. Sticking with the ford with some balls. And option to swap back to petrol if need be :P Not to mention BA sits on semi slicks.

1st time ever took BA to calder. Not to bad of a result. Huge learning curve.

so got there late due to traffic everywhere, lined up after been checked out. Hooked up shift light but had no time ot calibrate it so meh to that for now.

1st run, like a goose I had TC on. No burnout, no decent launch. 12.06 @ 126.27mph with 2.396 60" (lawl)

2nd run, reemed the burnout didnt bother to redo it, tried launching on 20psi semi slicks with 6psi boost. Car slid everywhere. No wall was hit, jumped back on it 12.83 @ 124mph and a 2.186 60"

Had a few talks to shannon (congrats on the 10.4 :D) and dion.

So 3rd run put tyres down to bout 15psi and done a handbreak launch + hard on brake. The burnout I done off the line was bigger then the initial burnout....lawl. 12.55 @ 122mph.

I pu the tyres to 14psi, and tried launching of 4psi and I actually finally learnt how to do a proper big burnout without hitting walls and easing off/on the brake. Just leave it in D and go for it is better then smashing through gears I think! Done a big ass burnout warm up (finally I actually got smoke from a burnout). I took off a bit better but didnt put the hand break all the way down on the launch and the stupid thing was beeping at me. My final run was an 11.7 @ 126.3mph with a 2.1 60".

So all in all, nerves obviosuly kicked in everywhere and I am slowly learing whats needed for that decent 1.6 60" launch. 1st thing, I need MT's. The Nittos nt05's arent good enough with this profile and even with a burnout. Have to go the MT et streets. So will prob source a pair if I can find em for 500$ in good condition on some rims. Car had no problems, went on HWY for a bit later and no issues so all good for a trip to heathcoat next time without the big ass spectators.

To all the haters, blow me, my MPH is good for a 10sec pass. Might have to be cool and let someone else drive it haha. According to the top 25 list of BA/BFs, headsex, with your 10.90 run @ 126.94 with a what 1.6 60"? I think im in with a shot once I get the ETs out with a decent 60". Need to practice my handbrake launches!!! :P

And for people who dont know, I have a full weight with STREET semi slicks, BA with a built 4spd on a 3500rpm histall showing 350rwkw on dyno-mite dyno.

11.7 @ 126.3 final result. 4 runs, 1st time ever, and all the pressure. Not a bad learning curve so far.

And I know I didnt run a 10 yet, but even if I ran 140mph, and I ran 11.10, you hero's would still have a cry about 'no 10's'.

SPOTTED: EVERYONE! lawl

also im hitting 6000rpm in 3rd and I cant go into 4th or ill fry kev band again. Seems to be loosing power last 50-80meters. Need to go back and check tune. Might be my exhaust issue coming to hant me. I just roll on the same speed/rpm that last 50-80meters which is gay. Donno what problem is yet.

Here are some tips i have learnt all tonight during my runs at calder:

#1, MAKE SURE (I learn ftom shannon) RADIO OFF, AC OFF, TC OFF

#2, Let rear tires down to about 15psi

#3, brake hard, then leave in D and just plant it to do a burnout till you see smoke, then gently start getting of the brake

#4, let opponent go 1st. So if he slides out or looses control etc and comes on your side, your nowhere near him. Usually happens first 100foot. Should be enough room to know what your next move is

#5, when at xmas tree (stage lights about to run) use hand brake + foot on brake. Hand brake == less wheel spin when you launch it. You need to press brake hard so it dont move, but put accel down hard till you get about 3-7psi boost built up. You need to practice a few times till your happy with your launch. I had no practice all night till last run so yeah...Dont just plant it, gently plant it.

#6, DONT CRASH! If your loosing it, dont try correct it and complete the run. Just start again. Theres always another run. Even I tried and still managed a crappy 12.8. Wasnt worth it but like an idiot I still went for it. No point damaging g/box etc on a crappy run.

Im no experienced driver, but I learnt all these things just tonight and still managed 126mph :P GL

One big learning curve. The car has a 10 in it. Apparently there is a formula that u can calculate that if i do a 1.6 60" (instead of my 2.2) ill get a better mph and also dip into the 10's. That WONT happen unless i run ETs though. No way on these nittos.

This time i wont advertise when or where i go, just to get some practice first :P Still need to work on my hand break launches.

well done dude.. you should be right with some more practise. 4 runs is nothing, when i used to go all the time i always got like 10 runs or so. practise makes perfect!

IMO dont let someone else drive it! its your car why let them have all the fun?
