Does it have to be another coon? Why not something like this?

It would be as quick as a AU XR8 and infinitely better and more classy :good: Think outside the square..

Shit Kenaz, does that thing come with a tub of hair gel and a years supply of steroids?! That car is a lot of things but classy, my friend, it is not!

Budget I would say is $15k max on road, so including insurance and rego.

Maybe, I don't think so though. If I was to look at a non-Falcon though, it would be something like a Subaru Liberty B4. I do like those cars, but it may be a tad too small.

What the hell man, why all the hate? How is not wanting a car that has been hacked to be something its not a retarded decision? I am onto my second manual conversion now, and I would have thought it was an obvious choice to go factory fitted goodness instead!

Your mum Bentley! :epicfight:

Anyways, as it just so happens, a recent development as just come to light that may put an end to all this! I won't say too much, because there is only a slight chance it might happen at this point, but its looking promising so far! Did someone say 6.0L manual wagon?!?

You do raise a good point Tim, and I am a little worried about that to be honest. I haven’t driven a stock 6.0L, only a HSV. Although on paper the SS still seems just as scary as a BF XR6T. Unfortunately this deal is limited to Holden only, and they don’t offer anything in between an SS and the poxy V6. I think I might drive one and see how it feels, I am just hoping that being an NA the SS will be less brutal!

LOL!! I love that Video! I think I would need a case of Red Bull to get that going though!! :P

Bah, I care not if I get the shit hung on me, comes with the territory. The only reason this Commodore thing came up is because I have been offered a staff discount through my best mate. If it happens or not is still to be decided, as I don’t know if it is worth it. It couldn’t be modified even if I wanted to anyway, as it will be under warranty. If not then I will be going back to my original idea of getting a manual Windsor.
I might go an drive a few SS’s this weekend to see what they are like anyway. Kest is probably right though, it will most likely end in pants shitting as per the turbo.
