i wouldn't tint the tail lights man, every attempt at tinted EB/ED taillights i've seen looks horrid.
the stock tail lights are pretty dark as is.
i don't mind the garnish in black, probably prefer the grey, but white seems to be able to pull it off.

car does look tuff as on the whole, good job.
you thought about doing EF/EL fuel filler door?

I have been told that getting them tinted professionally is way better than the spray can because they put a shit load of clear in the tint so it has a glossy finish to it compared to the matt finish the can gives. Also havnt thought about fuel filler door.. What is it lol??

EF/EL doors are smooth, don't have the finger hole bit.
i dunno what has to be done, from memory gotta upick the hinge assembly from each and fit the EB/ED assembly to the EF/EL door.
it's a little touch but cleans it up heaps.

For those who have eb/Ed Xr6s I just want to know does the lever to open the bonnet lay out on the grille if so is there a way of making it sit flush inside the engine bay without cutting it???

ef / el fuel filler panels still have the finger pull in them. you would have to get an au one to make it work. the shape is the same, but not sure about the hinge. my ef has the finger pull in it.

Ok guys after some time I hav just taken pics of interior it's all original leather/velour with woodgrain door trims(no way am I changing interior or selling) as u can see I have customized the speedo and I have changed the interior lighting from yukky orange to blue;). U may not be able to tell but also the front dash panels gve been sprayed with metallic grey and clear coated so it will always have a clean look to it.

mesh looks pretty good. is there a way to relocate the bonnet catch lever? the hole for the lever just ruins the effect. be good if you could set up a different release for the catch...

EL series 2 wagon's got a flush fuel door that bolt straight onto box cars without the need to modify it. Rare to find tho but I got lucky.
Also you can modify the bonnet catch lever so it sits on top of the grille with 2 pairs of locking pliers, just put two bends in it,one up and one flat again. Adjust the bends till it opens nice and sits nice. Will take ya 5 minutes to do it and you wont have to have a crappy hole in your mesh!
Car looks good too.
