Let's not forget the price of the new block you'd have to buy, to replace the weakest part of our motors, plus labour for putting it all together. Which is exactly why I went blower instead of stroker. You already have one, just buy a Windsor bracket!!

lol. A blower is going to make more power than a 347 with stock AU top end and a mild cam. If I was going to do it I'd only want 200rwkw.

Postby superhuS! » May 22nd, 2012, 12:11 pm

Well about a week or so ago the thermofans failed on my way home from work one night. After sitting in traffic overheating, I finally pulled into a servo to see wtf was going on.
Basically as soon as I popped the bonnet the cap off the overflow basically exploded and a nice geyser of water and coolant was sprouting out of my bay. After it settled down, I went to get some water to fill it back up, and all I heard was "MATE YOUR CARS ON FIRE!"

Turned around and surely enough, a small fire had propped up near the airbox. Having water in my hands I quickly put it out and ripped the negative terminal off the battery to cut the power. The person who wired up the thermos (who shall remain nameless for all intents and puposes) didn't do a very good job of it. So I limped it home with no thermos, and went to work re-wiring the damaged looms, and installing a new airbox and relay block. Now she's running fine, but i still want to clean up the wiring a little more.

Fkn fire extinguishers people!!! EVERYONE should have at LEAST one in their car!!! You only appreciate how important it is once you see fucking FLAMES coming out of your car and you're running around like a mad idiot trying to find something that will make it stop!
Image

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.
