That's fair enough. I did it with my el. Went and got another wingless bootlid and sprayed it. Had the option of changing it around if I wanted
I've actually got to sell the bootlid. It's got the shark fin wing on it

Nice pickup Tristan - looking forward to the KB!!

I got similar sentiments with my TE50 - they just don't think it's worthwhile...factory engine or worked motor. Lack of developed cooler kits for the windsor was Theo (and Chris') major argument...maybe Jeff from Streetbuilt in WA will show them up :P

Anyway, back on topic - refreshing to see big plans into a relative sleeper :)

Cheers Steve,

I hopefully it will be reasonably sleeper spec. I'd prefer not have have to change wheels how ever I'm told that brembo's don't fit behind these wheels. So it will need subtle exterior changes.

Yep, that was the biggest sook I got thrown at me, inlet temps, cracked block, blah blah. Whatever, it's still fun with the toy blower anyway! :P

FG ftmfw! I went and test drove a new FG2 XR6T ZF today, for shits. Well, it was a 'demo' with only 22kms on it, sticker price $39990! Hell of a lot of car, and **** me the ZF is a smooth kit, do want! Unfortunately we can't all be a savvy entrepreneur like this guy! :P Less useless visual mods, moar KB!

Yeah its photoshoped if only i could actually get these rims in a larger size and wider and also clear brembo's. Its so annoying that i have to changes wheels to put Brembos on a new XR8.

Cheers man. I like to keep it immaculate, I finally found a company to get me some more Concourse Zymol Wax, the best stuff. http://www.zymol.com/zymolconcoursglaze8oz.aspx

To be honest the Nitro wasn't my first choice in color i would have preferred Octane or Black but its grown on me now and really love it now that its detailed it really has a deep shine with heaps of flake.

Its the look I like and always go for sleeper nothing overstated except the TE of course but that was very flamboyant. The simple clean lines of the FG look better with out the spoiler and a simple set of wheels.

I've been trying to think of a number plate to suit this car as i want it to stand out a little compared to all the xr6's round in this color. So here are a few ideas I had but if anyone has anything else they could suggest.

NEATFG (I kinda like this plate simple nothing arrogant and doesn't suggest anything)
SLOWFG
BLONXR
BLWNXR
KNEBEL (KENNE BELL)
SLWXR8
YBSLO4
MINTFG
FGXR80
FG8330 (330ci)
SLOW54

Yeah BLUXR8 just doesn't seem right even though its the same theme as BLKPHN.

FG 330 does seem pretty neat too. the only problem i can see with it is that all the 330 GT's will have a combination like that

Yeah KNEBEL would be good for people who understand what it is... It was what I originally thought to get but it need one vital ingredient to make it.. which looks to be not far away.
