How much will it cost to clear the EPA shit? surely stock running gear wouldnt be that hard for you to fit, and I cant see how changing paint will help with this issues anyway?

Nah coz it'll be all original, running good and standard exhaust by the end of this - will be easy to register.

I'm not gunna spend around $800-1000 getting it back on the road legally as a green EA, then flogging it for $2500-3000... it's not worth it.

I can dig the restoration. The car has history to him and obviously he's over the green. Stark can look good if its in good nick.

Can you even get those sticker kits? That's pretty cool if you can. I always liked those 'driving australia' ones. Wasn't there some cheesy aircon sticker as well?

Lol @ so much sticker talk now. There was a stand at AFD a couple of years ago that sold all sorts of stickers. They even had 70's and 80's rego stickers and all that. Some XW/XY/XB enthusiastics will probably know who the mob was.. but this is my idea ****!!

lol if your after any I6 early EA parts I think I have heaps that are in still good nick after we stripped the EB of its EA motor.
