$200 fine possible using green p's with tint

Postby holmsy » July 22nd, 2008, 3:46 pm

listening to the radio on the way home today.
they said the police arent happy with the new green p's as they cant see them with any tint on the car.

also said. any one using the green p's with any car with tint can be fined $200

so basically the government are that stupid they didnt check if the P's are visible behind perfectly legal tint. fuckwits.
if i ever get done for it im gana be pissed.
apparently better ones should be available in about a month or something but who knows.

should take it to court if anyone is done.
all ya have to say is. the tint is 100% legal (if it is)
and the P's wer issued direct from the government.
how can they fine you for that.

typical forward planning from the state government.

you'd like to think police would have some leniency until the p's you can stick on the outside are available.

it was in the paper that they will use their discression as to weather anyone is done from it.

i'd imagine when the new ones are available (which are the dog ugly ones that mount to your numberplate) that people will be copping fines if they cant be seen.

funny that seems i had to tape up the shithouse quality plates they sent to me and when i took them down the sticky tape pulled my tint away from the glass which has obviously created a bubble!!!!

Just get a sticker type P-plate made up and stick it on the outside of your window.

Everyone knows you're a poofta for being on green p-plates anyway (generalising, not a personal attack), so why not save yourself the fines? haha

My brother's car has 15% tint, you can barely see in during the day, and pretty much nothing at night, if it was my car I wouldn't risk it. But he wants to learn the hard way.
