Went for a ride in an '04/'05 996 Turbo S today. From what I found on the net tonight after I got home, they're a true 11 second car from the factory  . 450bhp, 1500kg, 4wd!

It was holyfuknshit quick, it was a tiptronic and it just kept pulling like a mofo. The brakes were unbelievable too, and I reckon you'd struggle to find the adhesion limits on a dry road unless you were completely nutbar. I was certainly impressed :)

493kw and 1000 nm of torque. 6.0 L V12 TWIN TURBO. This car has got to be king of the road, the Bugatti Veyron and others would fall by the wayside in a track brawl IMO. Actually puts out 1,200nm of torque but trans can't cope

The one I posted is a 997 [you probably know that anyway!]. I can only dream of what a Turbo S 996/997 would be like - my bro's 996 Carrera4 goes like a cut-snake, and they're only N/A... Throwing on a couple of turbos would be nuts. Even the standard brakes give me a hard-on!! His is a tiptronic too so I thought it'd be a bit doughy and boring to drive; but surprisingly they adjust really well to your driving technique i.e. was holding gears when I floor it, down-shifting when you'd down-shift if you were driving a manual etc.

Get me a ride in the Turbo please :D

Speed by gears:
1st gear - 110 mph
2nd gear - 220 mph

Team Bray develops all of his own fuel systems in house and has a lot of specialised equipment that has custom made to achieve the desired results. A recent project completed is a computerised fuel flow bench, which allows the team to simulate run after run in the workshop without having the expense of making the actual runs down the race track.

Sat in one of these today :D , a black one with the carbon fibre option too! Very user friendly inside, not stripped out like most exotics I've seen, very luxurious.
Image
Image

Also sat in one of these babies, but it was black and had a custom stark white/gloss black/woodgrain interior. It had something like 300km's on the clock, and the lady had owned it for about a week.
Image
EDIT: Fark, did some research on the merc, they have a 6L V12 and 604hp! That's pretty cool.
