Smash Up

Postby Robertsbrock » July 20th, 2008, 4:52 pm

On friday night a 15y old boy stole his mates EA or EB and took his 14y old miss's for a joy ride around Horsham and didnt wear any seat belts , they came up just before a over pass and smashed the car into a tree and front fence of a house. The car is trashed..

Whats the biggest smash up you have ever seen?

Judging by the wood marks on the bonnet, I'd say it hit a tree.

Did the kids in the EA/EB die? Pics of 14yo?

I hit a dirty old Holden 4x4. Twisted the chassis of the rodeo thou, it was also stat written off and it had a highlight smashed and the kids head went through the drivers window. But it twisted its chassis.

Iv seen some pritty hardcore stuff like timmy, thanks to the cfa. A girl I went to school, lived in the same town n went on the bush with she had a headon in her laser with an AU. She was not very good looking at the end of it, and died on impact.

A baby hanging dead upside down in the baby seat was the worst iv ever seen, mother was drunk, speeding down a dirt road, failed to neogitate the corner correctly and filped her Pajero many many times. The babys head impacted his seat hard, and being threw around caused brain injury which resulted on his death on impact. The mother survived she was convicted of manslaugher

Hrmm yeah its not good, but it was made worse for me coz i witnessed the whole thing. Asshole tried to beat the gap in the traffic.
I wish that day never happened. Extremly hard to deal with, especially coz i had to stop traffic from driving over brain that was scattered everywhere.

dude that sucks..
i live about 100 metres if that from that massive crash in glenny at the corner of FTG rd and View mount where the taxi got hit by some cars drag racing. that was really fucked up, i saw the car after it was unrecognisable.

on a slightly lighter side, was in the city last night and drove past a taxi that had been t boned by a tram, pretty sure no major injuries cos no ambos or anything. but the taxi was fair fkd

Its never effected all that much, not since I almost lost my dad when I was younger. But alot of my friends went through what you were going through. But with the Girl I went to school with I seen it like this. She was 17, she was driving at night, and she was on the wrong side of the road after a corner.

But im sure Timmy will agree, dont recommend seeing accidents.

Hate to say it but I call bullshit on the HQ, NL_CONCORDE....a HQ GTS coupe never came out with a 400 small block....also the engine numbers in the HQ series never matched the ID's like they do in Ford's, so numbers matching to what...???.... but thanks for an interesting story...

OK I would lke to apologize for the above comment as I am truly sorry if I have offended anyone

But in life from what I have seen over the years the things you see are what make you who you are and if you feel the need to not move on because of something you have seen that has nothing to do with you personally then thats the way it is, personally when I look at how society has changed these days these is more excuses for why people do the wrong things.

the world is a nasty place with lots of things we should not have to see but unfortunately we do, it shouldnt be something that you dwell on but if you do then perhaps there is a lesson to be learnt. After all the horrfic drink driving accident out there people continue to drink and drive, why?

same with excessive speed accidents, yet alot of people continue to speed, why???

and as far as you go wolf...you wish you were as hardcore as me, well sorry buddy never gonna happen, if you think the original post was to show off you were mistaken thinking I was trying to be like you, sarcasm comes in big tins go buy some yours aint working

when it comes down to it people need to accept that life goes however they choose to

yet again apologies if I have offended anyone that was not the intention of the above post

Hrmm, I think in my case its a bitt different. I watched a guy die. I didnt rock up in a tow truck half hour after it all happened. Very hard to swallow watching someone lose their life right in front of you, especially the way he did.
But Im not saying its easy to see these things, its still something that sucks to see the aftermath of.

Go back many yrs ago in Sydney, we are talking nearly 20 yrs ago here, they had no allocation, (first in got the job), so there was no delay, towies usually turned up before anyone else did and unfortunately we saw it all, and tried to help as best we could so we cold hook up and move on

things are alot different with allocation, that was introduced to stop the towie's fighting with each other to see who gets the job on scene and allow emergency workers the time to do what was required without an audience

I wasn't trying to be sarcastic in my minimal amount of years i have been in the s.e.s i have seen 3 people die right in front of me and have also had to help retrieve a drowned body.

You might be able to handle it but a lot of people cant. i myself sleep fine at night but it affects the hell out of me if someone brings up the topic.

Well you have corrected me when the car was bought it had that running gear and matching numbers i should of made this clear as i meant the car and NOT the running gear but later on the small block was takin out and a 308 found a new home with a 4 speed put behind it cant specify which m series it was and the diff was then changed for the 3.08 i'll put up some pics a bit later in this thread but at the moment i got other things to do
ohh and losing family members has only made me a stronger person

considering i dont like talking about this either i will keep it brief, i saw someone die infront of me aswell when I was 5 years old, only a few select people i have told how it happened because it just sends chills down my neck. Watching someone die isnt pleasant, but it can make u stronger just depending on the kind of person u are.

These aint the same guys that had the accident at tabletop on the oylimpic, and they built a bridge and named it in their honor.
