anyone thought of upgrading the ignition on the I6? i'm about to go full sequential fuel on my eb but i'm still undecided on the ignition. what i mean is.....is a crane HI-6 or msd ignition module and super duper coil better then upgrading to a coil pack like rollin did or can you go further then that? any ideas?

yeah the gauge wiring would be a good 1. where each wire goes with pics would be awsome.

Crane Hi-6 is meant to be the ducks guts.
I've got one waiting to go in, I'll take some pics of the V8 install, it should be really similar to putting one on an EA-ED and EL 6, looking at the wiring diagram the hardest thing is going to be mounting it.
I was under the impression they were more difficult, but its like 4 wires and then the power and earth.

yeah thats whats i heard too. i have one sitting here waiting and the Fireball LX92 coil aswell. i just don't know if it will be worse/much the same/ better then going down the same route as rollin with coil packs. i remember ebs 4l and his turbo install, he used an Autronic sm4 and a crane hi 6, instead of autronics own (apparently staunch) ignition module or coil packs. how important is spark and how good do you need to get it?

i might start a ignition thread up in the electrical section and see if any who knows much about it can help. might have to resort to old street machine mags............

Yeah that would be good to have here also some wiring and setup info for Gauges like AFR oil pressure, temp and so on.

I wrote a tech doco on this over at Fordmods which I can put up here if desired?

want one done on how to fit power windows?
before you all yell fordmods at me, i know. The problem i had was i replcaed the body loom and door looms and that, rather than add wires.
think it might be helpful to have a full write up on that with pics?

How to polish wheels?
I got some 5 spoke csa's and the clear coat is f*ked, and I have no idea how to get them looking nice again
seeing them polished turbo blades makes me think these could actually turn out pretty nice

Following Kyle's post, I guess all that head sorta stuff would be good. Valve springs and lifters especially.
