EA2BA its time to move on ......

Postby EA2BA » August 12th, 2008, 7:11 pm

Hey people,

This is a heads up and not a for sale thread before anyone complains

I have bought a 4wd, a 2001 Holden Jackaroo Turbo Diesel , and this means the EA2BA comes to an end

So this means I plan to wreck it and sell everything, plus all the parts in the shed, so a for sale thread(s) to come soon.

Look forward to it. Care to throw up a couple of rough prices on all the major bits?

I have to work out prices yet, but body kit, slotted rotors, EF engine 30k on it since rebuild, EL ecu, smartlock module, BA alternator to fit EF/EL engine, and don't forget the headlights :P , heaps more bits, and have to sort prices yet sorry.

If someone makes a decent offer for the whole car, then I am happy to sell it whole as well, I just dont think I can get the same money the parts can bring.

If it wasn't a for sale thread it would be more about the new car, why you bought and what your plans are - not parting out your EA :)

Good luck.

Ok I bought the Jackaroo as I wanted a 4wd and it was right for the price (I tried to find a Ford but was not possible), I cant afford to keep both cars so the EA has to go whole car or parts. The jackaroo is a Holden so I doubt people would be that interested in pics and specs, but if people want more then I am happy to post it up.

On the plus side it is boosted

Yeah ya car is a bit dated now, unless you upgraded to EA2FG... lol

Bad news, but it happens. Hope you get good $$$$ for the bits.

Put it on ebay or something, it shudnt be that hard to get 1500 for it, even if it is an EA.

I would rather sell the car or the bits to members who want them, then I might be able to actually see the bits driving around and at car shows with any luck :)

True. I still rekon you could get 1500+ for it here or on AFF/FM even.

As for the jackaroo, hopefully its far better than the 97ish model we had, man that thing was a gutless bucket of crap. Hardest suspension in the world, felt like the wheels were bolted straight onto the chassis. Handled like poo too, my ol 87 Cruiser trayback felt better turning at speed, heck it shat all over that jackaroo we had. Least you've got boost now lol.
