steering wheel shaking

my steering wheel shakes frantically when i brake.
i checked the pads and rotors and are all fine.
what could it possibly be? would anyone have an idea

The rotors would be warped. You wouldn't have seen it with a quick glance but it's very common on Falcons

okay, well i bought new rotors but i was going to take them back after inspecting the current ones.
its just if i put the new ones on and it still shakes it will be a waste of money

your profile says your in northern suburbs. Go to pedders in campbellfield on hume hwy, ask for Lou and he will do a quick check for you. Could be heaps of things, better knowing what the problem is before you go changing stuff.

Yeah, it could of thrown one of the little weights off
