what are your thoughts?

nothin wrong with putting it up here mate.
gives us a laugh.

I just think it ridiculous that they are so up them selves they need to have their forums hidden. get over it.
as well as the fact a large amount of people on here are still banned including my self for stupid reasons. i even requested to be unbanned to look in x series section for some help on a project and they said they would look at it and never got back to me.

ah well. glad i and most others dont give a shit about it and have got over the shit unlike them.

Problem is VB is smart, iv tried that, and it got a cookie from my pc and banned me straight away.

Im banned, I dont have intentions of going back on there.

But after dishing out on RussleW and making him cry home to his mummy I think he would have to die for me to get back on there

Can I ask exactly how everyone got banned from AFF, I've always wondered cause over there you see people get banned all the time for no apparent reason.

I got banned once for asking how an air filter can give an 11rwkw increase from idle on a stock AU1 XR6. Another time for correcting russellw when he said the more compressible brake fluid is the better. And once for just shit-stirring when AFF started banning E-Series moderators.

And I know there have been much lamer excuses for bans as well :P

He's back at it too. I was flicking through threads the other day, apparently the LX ran 10's all day (got a bit slower it seems. Maybe he decided to tone the story down after I pointed out it was faster than all the street cars in the SM 400 metre list). However, his brother or some wanker had a Gemmi with a 253 that ran 11.2 all day. Yes, 253!

I can't remember how I got banned. Probably when I went off at Heljas for being a dickhead. Second and third accounts likewise. Fourth account isn't banned. Yet.

Here's the detail:

Grimus wrote:out of all the cars i miss would have to be my 76 lx torana 400 chev twin turbo ( 10s all day )

then it would have to be my old gemini nothing special but was my first car

if we add families cars i would ad my brothers 78 gemini engineered 253 powered and ran a 11.2 1/4 all day

Grimus

private9 wrote:Wow, got any details/pics of the 400 tt?

Even considering it's in a gem, how on earth did he get a 253 running 11.2's? That takes a fair amount of power, more than pretty much any NA 253 is capable of!

I reckon that site is shit to navigate... wonder who set it up?
For ppl wanting to try and get AFF access just get someone with access to make a thread in the site issue thread asking whats the go and make it all public, then have all randoms back you up and then access will be granted, i don't think they like the shit from e-series attempted take over flowing onto the rest of the forums...
