bonnet repairs

Postby el plumber » September 8th, 2008, 9:15 pm

hey guys
my mate took my el for a joy ride not to long ago and ended up hitting a stop sign post he has replaced the headlight and front bumper but my bonnet has a fair dint in it. it has lost the paint around the dint and has developed surface rust. would it be cheaper to get it panel beated and pay to get it re-sprayed, or go out and get a new bonnet from the wreckers??
thanks el plumber
is there nothing sweeter than the HUMBLE RUMBLE of an el falcon?
if there is i dont want to no about it...

My opinion, get a 2nd hand bonnet. If you take it to a place and they have to put bog in it, theres a chance the repair may not be 100% and you will have the headache of having it repaired again.

Definitely get another bonnet from the wreckers. If you're lucky, you might find one the same colour.
