It was just the way it was advertised, the way it came across, it sounded like a stock daily, so I was just curious why they would put in a manual. Thats all.
Also, I wouldn't want a manual Ghia, just my opinion thou.

Nice fairlanes (last two links)
12.6 qtr mile time for the v8 with nos sounds a bit quick thou.
The turbo fairlane seems not bad and cheap.

Wish I had the extra money...

why is 12.6 a bit quick???

mine ran 13.7 with worse diff gears and a stuffed ecu.

12s are very acheivable

Well it's a 150hp shot, that's not exactly pocket change.

And if it ran 14.00s n/a, I don't see why an extra 150hp can't knock off 1.4 seconds from that.

ecu had a piggy back chip that was tuned for a super charger and much bigger injectors so it allways ran very rich

Actually, I don't mind the concept IMHO.
Would have been nicer if it was a EL XR front thou, with a chopped roof, sitting really low.

Damn that EA ute looks awesome! Didn't Ford make a few prototype EA utes?

Looks a shitload better than the commodore ute of the time and would of been better than the XF/XG/XH series.
