Awesome! Somebody had a high res image of the engine bay as a desktop background. I wondered what turbo it was... GT42R as it turns out. Tough!

Full credit for doing something different.
But thats definately not something i'd be putting in a Muzzy. Why not put an RB26 in it if you have to do something along these lines.
I might be old school, but thats like putting that motor in an old X Series Falcon. It's just not cricket.

The guy who built it is mates with that Jason Ghiller guy who owns the 10 second AU powered XE. Same engine build I think.

He previously had a 10 second lpg XF so he likes his turbo falcon motors.

Series 1 Mustangs came with straight 6's, plenty of people still use them in the US, and drool over our EFI 250, SOHC and DOHC engines.

I would say he didn't put an RB26 in because they cost 50k to rebuild properly, and are still only 2.6L. And the whole Tokyo Drift gheyness. And it's not a Ford engine.

I think I might have seen a V8 Mustang before as well ;)

Nope its not.
Thats why he gets credit for a nice setup. But i was just saying it definately wouldn't be my cup of tea for a Muzzy, cause i'm more old school.
A big **** off lumpy V8, perhaps blown, would do the trick for me. But its different, and its each to their own.

Just cause a XR-XC Falcon came out with a 6 cyl, doesn't mean its a gold idea to put one back in it.

Look at your car. Now back to mine. Now back to yours. Now back to mine. Sadly, yours isn't mine. But if you stopped buying dodgy cars and bought an ED, yours could be like mine. Look down. Back up. Where are you? ...You're on BoostedFalcon, reading the signature your signature could be like! Anything is possible when your car looks like my car... I'm on a computer.
