picked it up a few months back and ive been happy with it since :D

its just going to be a cruiser with minor cosmetic modifications.
am i going to eat these above words? only time will tell

this car has balls... hammer the throttle and it will crab all of 2nd, also loves limiter.
it feels like it will do low 13s... guess ill have to take it to the Motorplex soon then :p

specs:
290kw
6 speed manual
leather interior
premium sound (6 stacker and sub)

cheers guys

nah Steady, im going through TECH9TYRES in Perth... they deal with Simmons a lot, so they can get a better deal than i can :)
$3600 for rims to get to Perth - Simmons direct
$3400 for rims/fitting tyres/balancing/rolling guards/wheel alignment - Tech9
(but of course, in both cases, id still need tyres)

nommic, it dropped about 1.5/2 inches..
supposedly you cant lower FGs too much otherwise the tailshaft binds up or something bad  :o

wicksy, thats sweet. but im not touching the car mechanically... you see, if i did an exhaust, the next thing would be a Kenne Bell.
i dont want to put a KB on it... but modding is something i cant help... its a disease lol

Frost, it means "are you 16?", btw do you have a sister? :P

Yeah sweet, I'll probably end up doing the same thing with a joint in Vic, Simmons didn't want a bar of me when I was trying to figure out how wide I could go on the rear of the ED.
Looks tops though man, make sure you whack some pics up as soon as you get the FRs on!
Should look tough as guts with the dark centre and redwalls.

Iv seen some bad reviews of Tech9 and good reviews on Tech9. Something about making sure they do the job right.

haha, funny story which i can see playing out here.
I bought some Mal Wood tramp rods off a bloke who used to have a 350rwkw F6 Tornado.
Crashed it, put an FG Super Pursuit on order.
When I spoke to him, he said the reason he was getting the 8 was so he wasn't so tempted to get more power out of it, and that he would keep it a stock work car....

http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index ... =0&start=0

There it is now
For those who can't see it, first Harrop blower onto an FG.
Quick vid on page 2 of that thread, just giving it a rev cause it hasn't been on the dyno yet.

That probably won't happen to you but tocchi, I'm sure you can resist the temptation to do something similar

Haha that's awesome Tocchi!! It's good to see some old school wheels like the FRs going on newer models. Timeless wheel, they will look tight on the FG!

Awesome thread, Steady :D Those Boss' should've been blown from factory; ~350rwkws with no other mods is nuts.

oh dang. I thought you were including rotors. In that case, ignore my offer on PES.

GTE spoiler will look good! I'm still unsure of the front/rear ends on these though... or the rear 1/4 windows. They look kinda strange still. Better than VE, but not by that much. If Ford don't do something soon to make me cum in my pants again then I'll be forced to buy European! haha.

I'm glad your rims got delayed too. I'm stuck out hanging around Varanus Is waiting for it to explode again and char grill us all. That means you're not allowed to have fun either!!!

(btw - bonuses for all these people onboard and having to share cabins = $86.90/day)
Got Mods?

Fairmont goodness... x2
