Mate that looks mickymouse ;). Youd have to get under the car and see whats stamped on the springs to determine what they are, too me they look like 'lows'. Im probably wrong. Im running 18 x 235/40's with King Superlows and it only scrubs in the back if I got 3 mates in the back and I hit a decent bump.. not that I can see any tyre then either. It would also depend on what offset your wheels were. If I lived in sydney, I wouldnt hesitate to get ultralows myself as I assume the roads are decent, up here they are up and down like a dogs breakfest.

Sweet car for a 17yr old ;), toss the spoiler (spoiler: the name says it all) and buy some boot plugs from autobahn.

Very nice. Not usually a fan of those rims but they look the goods on your EL. I'd say you've got superlows already, so maybe think of every possible place you drive before lowering it more. I didn't, and my fairly new exhaust is gonna get a hole in it eventually.

Very nice car! When I was 17 I had a yellow XE 200ci on gas :(

I reckon they're King superlow height as well, bigger rims generally make a car look like it's sitting higher. An easy way to check is to measure from the guard to the centre of the wheel, King say their superlows will sit somewhere between 330 and 350mm.

Looks pretty low from those pics, id have to agree Todd and Aaron and have a guess at em being superlows. Great looking car you got. Lucky you getting to be on your Ps at 17!!

Can this actually vary between cars tho? My brother has a NL fairlane with same springs, same size wheels as me, slightly lower profile tyre but mine sits way lower :?

Yes it varies a lot, no idea why, and King say there is no problem. But I remember when a mate swapped SL's from his EA into his EL, and the EL sat a good 30mm higher, even though the EL is over 100kg heavier. It's been well documented in the past on here that they vary a fair bit in height, especially Superlows it seems.

Tyre profile and rim size have nothing to do with the guard to hub measurement, which is why it's the best method to measure a cars ride height.

Yeah I realize that the profile and rim dont change that, but they do affect the tyre to guard. Thanks mate.

looks tops mate. i reckon a few nice mods like get some pacemaker extractors, hi flow cat to finish off your exhaust, then a nice subtle cam will have a good smile on your face.
So much RAM the motherboard twisted off the POST.

wade cams to regrind cams and are extremely popular. if you visit fordmods.com they are a sponsor there so you can get all the info you want on them.
