dark tint - p plate not visible

got pulled over the other night, and the cop told me my p plate wasnt displayed correctly well the word he used was conspicuously. anyway this is due to my dark tint, pretty sure its legal cos it passed roadworthy, they cop didnt give me a fine or anything, but it annoys me that u cant get non gay exterior p plates easily, e.g from super cheap or autobarn. so now i have to get a stupid one from ebay, just wondering if anyone else has had this problem??

When i was on my P's i bought one of the harder P's and took one of the screws out from the number plate and put it their .

I saw a set of those hard green P's in a roadhouse in ararat yesterday.. 4$

Yeah a few mates have been fined for that kind of thing. Gay rule but go with it cos you wont get out of it if they decide to fine you.

if you get pulled up again ask them where you get hard ones from in your town so you can put them in a more visable position

i got warned for having my front one up in the tinted section of the windscreen.. rego sticker was up there too.
they questioned me about it and i said where they wanted it made that section a blind spot. got off a ticket hehe. but was asked to move it further down the window so it can be seen.

but the rules are different now compared to when i was on my p's

I did 1 even better. I got my tint done 4%. Which is darker than ambulance tint. If they cant see the P plate to start with they dont even bother to hastle you. NEVER got pulled over for the tint...and NEVER got hastled becasue of them not seeing a P plate.
I just get hastled for ride height....they can lick the bag, im not changin it for anyone.
My advice....get REALLY dark tint.

hahaha its a bit hard to get around it when they have a look at ur licence. lol nah he wasnt a **** so its alright, im gettin a homo one off ebay and not puttin up the cra around it, gettin ready for bein pulled over every 5 mins.... oh well

i got pulled over by the nicest cop ever. the cop just kept complimenting the car lol.
though he said the windows were too dark and i had to put the P on the outside if i didnt want a fine by those traffic patrolling ****

wait till they turn all NSW on ya ass's. Your P plate will be stuck beside urnumber plate

HOW good is 4% ? i also have limo tint on my car

Its the best. Cant see in even if you have a torch. Just reflects right back in your face.

my rear quarter windows have 2 layers, we had some left over.

my rear screen only copped 18%, didnt have a sheet big enough for it. but im going to bang another layer over the back

Its also illegal to put your rego sticker on tinted glass, bah Im not moving it from the rear quarter window for anyone, it use to be illegal to even put it there..

LOL that just reminded me, I dont have a rego sticker on my screen at all. Had to replace the windscreen and the sticker wouldnt stick back on so its in the glove box. Causes all sorts when I have to go through a booze bus :S

I had the same issue when i was on my P's. I first stuck it on the rear bar then ended up making one of vinyl at a sticker guy and put it on the outside of the window when i got my car resprayed.

kept them happy and i had a modded 'P' plate too....LOL

If I had to have P plates, Id write 'rick' in undercase after the P. Just to be a idiot.
