its been a while since i came on here and my first post. mainly just come on to check out all the tuff turbo eseries. i used to own eb5speed,



still kicking myself for getting the au, a nice turbo kit on the eb would of seen more power and been more fun to drive.

now ive got my au2 xr8

220kw 5litre
5speed manual (on its second one )
hi flow cats
twin 2.5" system
capa flash tuner with custom tune (98octance tune 202rwkw)
xtreme clutch
leather
premium sound
put in a few factory options it never came with like momo wheel and shift and xr floor mats
custom plates "5L"



and my gf has her ef fairmont

4litre I6
lukey panel filter
lukey 2.5" catback (only for sound lol she doesnt have to go fast)
superlow pedders springs
clear ef repeaters from "ratman"
18" typhoon mk 2 rims
pioneer deck, pioneer speakers, jbl monoblock, 2x12" clarion subs.
slotted from rotors
custom plates "4L"

Couple of nice looking cars AU sounds good from in the cabin and looks mad with the black rims. ^^Agreed about dumpage too.

I wouldn't have thought the black rims would suit the blue, but I def agree with Gozza - it works really well. That's a decent figure from the AU, has it been down the strip yet?

nah the au hasnt been down the strip yet, SA doesnt have a drag strip .

i originally painted the rims black because they were scratched to buggery, but it has grown on me now.

I think I remember meeting you when you bought the EB on a couple cruises back in the day.
I agree with everyone else about the AU, it looks quite decent with the black wheels.

Do you pay $160/yr or whatever it is for the plates, or do TSA sting you more because they're only 2 digits?

The XR8 looks mad....

My old man has an AUIII XR8, Venom Red, with the 220kw engine and the Factory racing bodykit. Wicked fun cars

Any more progress?
