Why were you doing 101 in an 80 zone though...?

I think you'll be sweet. But I have been known to be wrong in the past. 8-)

Well you were lucky then. By denying that you weren't speedy can cause greater risk of a fine and they will most likely send it in the mail. Always agree with the cops and you will be sweet mate

I had a mate who got done for doing 140 in a 60 zone (b4 hoon laws), no fine on the spot, thought he was let off coz nothing was said, 6 months later he had to go to court.

hows this for a fine....was sitting in the petrol station last night just having a chat with few mates while others where inside getting food, cranners was driving my car i was drinking

anyways car was sitting there parked TMU comes in fills up petrol then drives his car up to mine and tells me the car is unregistered (which it isnt, expired during the week and didnt drive it, pay'd rego thurs night and it went through friday) i keep telling him it is registered and i have receipts at home to prove this. WELL he wouldn't have a bar of what i had to say and went on to write out a $511 fine and says it cant be driven :S went down to local cop shop were they told me the car cannot be driven even tho i showed them my bank statement and receipt proving i had payed it and they said if it was to be driven i would be risking getting another fine

this is the 2nd time this has happened in 2 different cars and now the car cannot be driven until i write the police a letter and send in evidence proving i have payed the rego and have to wait for them to send a letter back dropping the fine THEN it can be driven....

seriously what a screwed up system

Haha yeah, he went on about how the car wasn't registered and that while Kaddis and a few of the other boys stated he had paid it. When the officer handed back his licence and the fine he looked at Kaddis and said "dont snatch, its not nice" haha

well how's this... i had to go to court, becuase i let an unlicenced driver drive my car, and the judge didnt even know what fine etc to give me...

word of warning, dont let an unlicenced driver drive your car, as the owner cops a big double fist from the cops as well, and its not nice.

Iv got several fines in the mail.

As for the cop if he just read out your license number and didnt write down you details. And took off someone else, chances are you will be right and wont get one.

Let us know how you go, should take 1-2days

I think police need to be policed, there's been many times when they have oversteped the boundaries of my world. Today I sat between a cop and an aj in the passport office, both of them had retarded ways of coping with my presence. Maybe it was my antifag deoderant but eventually they couldn't handle it (me sitting on the same sofa) and both moved to another one, cop was first to go, minute later the aj was gone. Small men, very, very small.
