resetting clock in ef

hey guys just a quick question but how the fark do u reset the clock in a ef el. I sat in the car for about an hour to put the time forward an hour & be farked if i could figure it out.

Unplug the battery (will probably reset ECU) or pull the dash out and unplug the clock, ~7 screws.

Za whaaaa? Isn't it just hold-down the reset and search buttons?

I'm talking about the digital clock in my EL Ghia... not sure what you guys are talking about

yep the digital clock. Thats what i thought hold down reset for a few seconds then use the search button to change time but it did not work.

push the far right button for a sec while holding that push the middle button

I thought he meant he went too far with the time, and you cant go back. But yeh, you hold down search for like 3 secs then press reset at the same time then quickly let them both up you go into settings - but if you fk the year up (like I did), you have to fully reset the trip - dunno bout the clock.....

pretty sure i tried that to. even tried using the over speed button as well. Tried using all 3 buttons in different combinations ( holding this button & hitting that button & so on) i might try disconecting the battery maybe the clock might be having a hissy fit or something.....

Ahhh maybe thats what i did wrong not letting them both up. i was likeholding 1 button down then the other button & waiting for it to flash like on the eb/ed's....
