well, picked up a set of pacemakers for a slab of beer and wacked em on. i was hoping with cam and extractors to make mid 140's but turns out my hopes were waaayyy to high, and i ended up making 133.7kws. (leet).

I will admit the car revs a lot freer and stronger, and the powerband is much larger than before, but still would have liked to get more out of her! but i guess i can't complain!

stupid me thought i'd fix up the sticker (i buggered some of the letters putting it on and they were folded) of course i ended up butchering it and it looked shoite so i just took it off

used an RPD cam (my mate mitch was one of the blokes running it) so i got it for really cheap..

i was never gonna bother with a cam, but yeah the offer was too good to refuse... and i admit that thanks to the cam the power curve is a hell of a lot better than before... plus it has a nice (tiny) angry idle

another update:
albeit a small one, got a hold of some chrome door handles for the right price and put them in this morning!
(sorry about the crappy phone quality pic)

After working out a little trick to get the door handle rod in (stupid me was trying to get it in whilst the handle was against the door) it only took less than 3min a door.

definitely 1 done as there are reminents of the oil/coolant that stained the lower block, so i'd assume this is the 2nd one, and since it's still an EL head, i'd say its half way through its life (if not more)

another small update.

got some AJ injectors and put them in, to be honest i havent noticed any difference, but hey better than having my leaky injectors!

also picked up a 3" stainless intake pipe which WAS in heritage green, but i thought i'd give my first shot @ spray painting a go and made it white.

Only issue is (as you can see in the second pic) there is a "bump" which is used to screw down the stock intake, this bump is holding the pipe a bit high and it is fowling on the bonnet.

thanks bud.

in the end including install it was about $500. but if you did it yourself you'd save quite a bit of coin. so i opted for the DBA slotted rotors and i went for EBC greenstuff pads as well.

some of the best cash i ever spent. you definitely won't regret it.
