Ned's EL Futura.

Postby ned » August 30th, 2007, 1:59 am

Hey guys,

Just bought a new car, it's an EL Future, colour is Arctic Blue I believe. Has 159,000km on it, some bullshit mags and it's spotless inside and out.

Will post pics soon. :)

The overall condition of the car made me go ahead with the purchase. All the Fairmonts I was finding were not even close to how looked after this thing is.

Can someone tell me where you need to look to add attachments? I cannot find it anywhere!!

Just a quick pic from today. Sprry for taking so long. Anyway, she now has... Pedders Sports Ryder shocks in the front with Superlow springs, and Pedders Comfort Gas in the rear with Superlow springs also. Next is the stereo hopefully.

Ned... are/were you at Deakin Uni by any chance? I remember meeting a Ned a couple of years ago there that was working on an e-series. I don't think I had my EL at the time, so I probably didn't pay too much attention.

Man that looks tough!

I know they're superlows in the back, but are they 'modified' at all? What did the shocks and springs set you back? How does it ride now?

Yeah rears have had 1 coil taken off, it rides better than my EB did. Only problem is that I had to do some custom mods to my exhaust at home due to a bullshit muffler so it hits the diff now and then, but nothing a 2.5" cat back wont fix later at the exhaust place.
