Is that an actual pic though? Or just a very good photoshop? The angle of the engine doesn't seem right, but it just might not have a gearbox attached.

Good idea if you get the engine cheap I reckon.

Haha that's sick.

Would anyone happen to have a pic of an LS1 next to a Boss motor?

I remember seeing something for a Boss 5.4 next to a Windsor... Windsor looked like a model engine next to the Boss.

Edit:
SNAP NECK wrote:if you want something unique..put a 4.6 modular in it.. ( even in stock form, would be much better than the 5.4L )

to put a BOSS engine in a e series requires much modification work to towers and suspension...
and still the clearance for headers is extremely minimal..

here's a pic of the difference between a windsor and 4.6...
imagine the 5.4L...

LS1s are around 9.2" deck I think vs 302 Windsor 8.2", so picture another 1" of block on a 302 and you are pretty close.

on the subject of conversions, do any ford folk ever fantasize about something like a 2jz conversion?
or just not really an option?
i guess the 4lt makes some pretty fkn decent power!
