Hahaha I thought the same thing when I saw it. He told me most of it will be sanded off to get the bluge looking like it was made as part of the bonnet.
He did Bombers car and that came out good, so hopefuly mine is just as good.

Looks like they put bog over the double sided tape residue on the rear filler panel!! Did they weld the holes?

Hope it comes out good.

dude, sorry but those holes are massive. bombers car looks mad, just hope yours is the same. the bonnet will crack at some point.the bonnet is metal which has no give and it has fibreglass on it, which will flex/move. so 2 different materials have the react some way. luckily you prob wont notice it as caris red, which will hide a bit.

fark man. easy. so what if i havent done it for that long.im saying that what im seeing in the pics is completely against what i have ever done. and as stated i have been there and done that. it did crack!
as far as im concerend you get what you pay for.and you can say it 1billion time thats bombers was done same place, but from what i understand bomber is related/ good freind of the guy, so he would put in extra effort.

no need to get so pissed dude.
just hope it looks ok and stays that way.

looks good.
thats alot of red tho. personally i would want a line of some other colour. where the black strip should be.

and the bonnet looks kinda funny. like boxy. but might just be the light or something.

im sure it looks good anyway.

Headlights have cardboard in front of them still from being in the spray booth. I dont know why the wheels look red, maybe its the phone.

Theres definatly no overspray on the wheels , that was the 1st thing I looked for when I went and saw that car.And he would be buying me a new set of wheels if that was the case. Im happy with how its come out.

there is a good chance it was overspray mist. its not overspray as you know it but its when the paint is flying round, drys then touches a panel.
just wiping it , it comes off.easy to do, easy to get rid off.

ok now dont snap man..........but.
it looks good inn pics but i cant belive they left everything on to paint it. like that is so lazy.
all the body moulds, by the looks the numer plate (look bad if ever get slimline plates)
the mirriors and all.anyone who has painted a car knows what im talking bout.
i can understandbombers car as its a 3layer paerl.

this is my 2c but i will check it out @next cruise.

Im sure you will.

FYI, the plates were taken off. I actually put them back on the car. Tail lights were taken out, indicator lights were taken out, and the rest of the car was masked.

Yes I know its not how you would do it, but im happy with the result. If I didnt like how it came out I wouldnt be picking the car up monday.

*edit*...I forgot to mention the the washer jets have been removed also, now hidden.

You should look at getting some Chrome Fairmont side molds to try and break up the red, avoiding just going back to black...

Then why would you spend money on a respray etc? That isnt making you $$$??

IMO i think the buldge and scoops look too much, especially with xr front as well. Shoulda stuck to one or the other.

I dont mind the red without the strips though :)
