shepparton has one of the largest indigenous communities in the state. who cant afford the entry to DECA and stay off the street all spring nats weekend coz of all the cops.
yes the cops go out of thier way/make things up to defect you. in state law you are entitaled to ask the officers name and BASED station (no such thing as badge numbers for those movie buffs out there) so ask them for it while they carry out thier inspection, one of the methods of the locals ;)

They do have an ID number, ever police officer does.....

As for Summernats it all depends on which way you enter the state, usually the NSW cops have all entry's to ACT covered.

If you trailer your car, keep it sensible on the cruise and don't drive around the streets at night at you car with rims bigger than ya mums gut, more than 10cm off the ground and a polished chrome intercooler your pretty safe these days.

LOL, so don't go in other words?
Because I can save my money, and go to Canberra for Summernats with a car exactly like that and not get defected.
That is how a town should welcome a car event that has the potential to bring dollars in to their local economy, not using it as oppurtunity to hand out mass defects.
By all means, screw kunts that are doing dumb sht, breatho every man and his dog a million times, do kunts for speeding.
But lay off the defecting of VS GTS-Rs for having a spoiler that obscures vision.
If Springnats goes down the gurgler, they'll only have the jacks to blame.

I have been there for last 3 years and i havent ever had a problem there at all.
I think people create there own problems mroe than anything .

And two years agoat summernats i got deffected . Worst thing about it is was for the car having clear indicators non standard air box and wrong seat belts on car.

Yeah some times they go a bit overboard but yeah i think thats all car events these days.
Im not sticking up for les i. just i think that people talk to much about it.

Figures from this year easternats were as followed.
131 defective notes issued
58 fines issued
4 drinking infringments.

Who hear has been defected in SHEP at springnats.?

lots of people. one of my friends in her excel got defected for empty washer resivoir. (yes they will make shit up) and one yr a heaps of cars ON TRAILERS were defected. this is why you get thier names and station. the EPA even go to the trouble of setting up a mobile test station a couple of blocks off the main drag.

Lolz at the trailer. That's illegal from the police point of view. I could see how many cases they lost in court. Idea of it being on the trailer as it "not worthy for road use"
