I might have to. It worked perfect then as soon as I want to sell it and someone comes to look it idles at 1500rpm and the centre muffler rattles it arse off. :/

The people came before I had a chance to wash it and neaten it up, it still had the ED top rad hose, ED thermostat housing, no power steering cover (oil everywhere), no air intake pipe.

It looked pretty ghetto. That combined with its high idle was pretty embarrassing after I told them it was a good car.

I replaced the intake manifold gasket yesterday which fixed the idle and rattling muffler. I fitted the EF rad stuff, power steering cover, air intake and cleaned the motor heaps. They said they will get a mechanic mate to check it out this week but I dont think they will be back.

If it doesnt sell Im not fussed but the cash will pay for a new set of tyres for the mav. :D

That thing has been for sale for at least 3 years now. He wanted $35,000+
Current bid of $3,050 doesn't stand a chance, :P .

Jeezuz. If he wants that much he'd be far better off selling it in pieces, and then selling the car off as a stocker (ish).
I cant see that auction going to even half of that.

The owner of that car is Bob Romano. He runs Bob Romana Performance in Cannon Hill/Morningside. He has been trying to sell that car for at least 3yrs.
Last time I remember seeing it was in Performance Ford Mag for $35,000 and 44,000kms. IIRC the add on ebay is word for word from that Mag.
P.S - isn't this the 2nd time this has been posted this month?

Apparently I've heard from a few people (including ex-employees) he is a bit of a tosser. (notice the bold type below)
Quote from EBay add:
Featuring a massive list of top-shelf components and masterfully built and tuned by the legendary mechanicand racer Bob Romano.
This is Bob's own personal car, so you know its something special. This vehicle has only traveled just over 44,000km's since new with this engine travelling well under 2500km's.
