Using a screw driver between the door and roof, lever the door out away from the body. Then use a coat hanger to pull the door handle open. Use a cloth against the roof so you don't dent it.

Failing that, just smash either of the front door windows. Door glass is dirt cheap (I've got a full set for $20), and the fronts are easiest to do.

I locked the keys in my work car the other week. I called the RACQ, they arrived 15 minutes later and the door was open 30 seconds after that. Too easy.

You should have just left them in there. Cut your losses and walked away.

Because it's fun. As for walking away, I'm taking a stab that it was an anti EA comment.

Anti-EA sentiments are grounds for banning on these forums.

just use a steele rule or somthing flat. go between the glass and rubber push down near the lock and the you will see the lock move then push harder takes ten seconds.

LOL for thinking to get on the boosted web site asking how to get keys out of a locked car instead of calling RACV!

Sorry, but I find it very amusing.

mate i called RACV straight away, to get into my car i would have had to renew my membership, which costs $70, which i dont have atm...
my only option was to either leave the car, or break in myself.
i gave the window thing a try, but only had a coat hanger, so was a no go.
but all good, ill be getting a spare key cut, and renewing my RACV cover when i can lol
this is a pretty common thing for me

lol i actually put the keys in the ignition, then got out to get something out of the boot, and my locks are trippen balls a bit atm, sometimes when my doors are open the locks unlock, then lock and get stuck in a loop until the doors closed, and then they lock.
so of course when i got out the door closed and it locked itself
either way id be fucked. i need to figure why its doing what its doing

sounds like one of the inner door mechs on driver/pass or one of the actuators are sooking when you close the door.

Mmmm bump.

I locked the kets in the ED once and levered the top of the rear door open with a crowbar to get a coat hanger in to open the handle. Crowbar slipped and smashed me square in the fvcking nose. I saw stars and birds and shit, all whilst standing in the middle of Vicroads Employee carpark.

Moral of the story, make sure u get some decent grip and stay out of the fvcking way of your lever!
